Do you know the most helpful general beauty tips? for Women and Men

Here have much opinion by Quora.com Users
Priyanka You might have seen people looking for natural beauty tips now and then. The beauty industry is quite vast with people using various beauty products for different purposes. Besides, did you know these beauty products tend to have a toxic chemical which can leave your skin dry? Well, it does not mean you cannot use makeup products, but do not overuse it. For all those looking for a pure definition of beauty, it is nothing but revealing the real you. There are a number of ways you can consider to look beautiful naturally. Instead of paying a lump sum of money on beauty products, do you know your kitchen and other natural products serve as great beauty experts? To help you get started, mentioned are some of the natural beauty tips women can consider getting that naturally glowing skin:
Raspberries and Coconut Oil for Brighter Lips
If you want brighter and shiny lips, then raspberries and coconut oil do the needed magic. With this, you can say bye to your lip balm and other cosmetics. All you have to do is to warm one tablespoon of coconut oil until it turns to the liquid state. Once you are done warming the oil, the next step is adding four to five fresh and frozen red raspberries and mashing it until it is a smooth mixture. Once done, you need to place the mixture in a container and refrigerate it until it gets firm. It works as a natural lip balm giving you the glow and natural tinge your lips deserve.
Chilled Tea Bags for Tired and Puffy Eyes
Next time you are done using the tea bag, do not throw it, instead refrigerate and use them to get rid of tired and puffy eyes. It is quite understood that long working hours can make your eyes puffy thus making your face look drained. Chilled tea bags do the magic by calming those tired and drained pupils. All you need to do is keep two green or black tea bags in hot water for about a minute or two. Once done, remove it and cool it in a small bowl and put it in the refrigerator. Once the bags are chilled, place them on your eyelids for at least 10-15 minutes. It is a wonderful natural beauty for women tip and should be considered whenever you feel tired.
Raspberry, Pomegranate and Sweet Almond Oil for Smooth Skin
Who does not want the smooth and glowing skin, everyone does, right? Well, you can now easily get glowing and smooth skin by a simple mixture of raspberry, pomegranate and sweet almond oil. You are advised to mix equal parts of pomegranate seed oil, raspberry seed oil and sweet almond oil. Take four to six drops of the oil mixture and warm the oil by rubbing it between the palm of your hands. Once it is warm, press it gently onto the dry areas of the face. It works by hydrating your skin, thus giving it the glow it deserves.
Follow these simple natural beauty tips and see the results within a week or so.

Shanaya: I know, from personal experiences when I was a teenager and still learning about all this beauty – that make-up, especially, DOES NOT go well on skin that is not taken well care of.
Whether you are dry, oily, combination or whatever – if you do not take good care of your skin, then it will show through other beauty regimes that you do (make-up, tanning, hair removal etc).
1. Detoxify:
Your skin is a reflection of your overall health. It is the body’s largest organ, and it is an elimination organ. Toxins inside your body can make the skin on the outside of your body look less than beautiful.
When you eat foods with toxic ingredients, it is naturally reflected in your skin. The Beauty Detox Solution creates health and beauty because it has a strong element of detoxification to it.
When you detoxify your body, the results show on your skin.
Detoxification is an ongoing process – though periodic cleanses, properly designed and conducted can help launch you into a healthier long-term lifestyle. To detoxify:
Drink hot water with lemon every morning
Drink the fiber-rich
Avoid processed and fast foods that contain chemical ingredients
Stick to organic whenever possible (research grapefruit seed extract uses)
Exercise (but not to excess)
Take magnesium oxygen at bedtime
Eat enzyme-rich foods
Take probiotics
Eat a high plant-based diet (or all, as I do)
Drink a lot of water and avoid excessive caffeine
2. Nourish:
We’ve all heard the adage, you are what you eat. While this is true throughout your body, it is especially visible on your skin.
Eating toxic, chemical-laden foods can show up on your skin, leaving it dull, dry and flaky. Poor nutrition can also speed up wrinkling and cause breakouts.
Nourishing your skin begins from the inside with the foods you eat. Because the skin is an organ, it requires nutrients to maintain vibrant health.
3. Cleanse:
Keeping your skin clean is also important. Many people use harsh cleansers that can actually strip the skin of important hydration and leave it dull. Use a mild cleanser.
Because I have oily skin and used to battle acne, I used to think I needed a stronger cleanser. But now I’ve been using and love the Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser (200 ml) (it cleans my face really well, but doesn’t strip it).
It works for all skin types. I don’t recommend using very drying cleansers or regular soaps on your face.
4. Exfoliate:
Exfoliation removes dead skin cells on the surface of your skin that can cause dullness. You don’t need to buy expensive products or use harsh chemical exfoliators, however.
You probably have a natural skin exfoliation agent right now in your kitchen: oatmeal.
Oatmeal both soothes and exfoliates. To make an oatmeal exfoliation mask, mix ¾ cups of ground oat groats (grind them in the food processor), or steel cut oatmeal with 1/3 cup of warm water and spread it on your skin. Allow it to dry, and then rinse off with warm water.
Another great natural exfoliator for the skin is raw organic apple cider vinegar. It contains alpha-hydroxy acids and can also balance the skin’s pH. To use, mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water and apply it to your skin with a cotton ball. Sit for five minutes before rinsing with warm water.
5. Hydrate:
Hydration is important for glowing, healthy skin.
Drink plenty of pure water throughout the day
Drink 16-32+ ounces of Glowing Green Smoothie, which is really hydrating and has a lot of enzymes and nutrients from the fresh fruits and vegetables.
Eat a lot of raw foods that contain their own water, like salads containing lots of brightly colored vegetables.
Avoid caffeine and alcohol, which are dehydrating.
Take in extra fluids on hot days, when you are ill or stressed, and when you exercise vigorously.
6. Protect:
Sunlight is important because it supplies valuable vitamin D. To that end, you do need to get about 10 minutes of sunlight each day on unprotected skin in order to allow your body to synthesize vitamin D.
Too much sunlight, however, can be harmful, just like anything in excess. Practice healthy sun habits, such as covering up and wearing a hat.
7. Improve circulation:
Keeping your blood flowing and promoting lymph drainage can help keep your skin glowing! Dry brushing is a technique that improves circulation and promotes lymph draining. To practice dry brushing:
Use a soft, natural bristled brush.
Dry brush before your shower every morning.
Use a light pressure as you brush.
Starting at your feet, brush in small movements up towards your heart.
When you are done, take a shower.
8. Minimize makeup:
One of the benefits of healthy skin is not having to wear a lot of makeup. I don’t wear it all the time, but I do love my favorite products, like makeup from Lotus Herbals.
It’s natural and non-toxic. It’s doesn’t make you break out – I’ve even worn it to sweaty yoga class in the middle of an afternoon and I don’t break out.
There are also other organic makeup brands that I would recommend that will get you the glowing skin you want. A lot of makeup brands contain toxins and chemicals that can clog skin, even so-called mineral brands. So choose your products judiciously.
I hope these tips help you! Great skin is on the way.

Mira: Girl, you have to read these awesome beauty hacks!
They are not only awesome but also makes your life so much easier <3
Go girl, hack on!
1. Flat Beer For Glossy, Soft Hair
If you can’t chug it, don’t chuck it! Leave it out for a bit till the beer gets flat and use it as a hair rinse instead! The malt and hops in the beer are packed with protein that helps nourish and strengthen hair. The nutrients and Vitamin-B also help repair damaged hair and give it a glossy texture soon after.
2. Green Tea Bags For Plump Lips
We all hate cracked, chapped lips. Instead of picking up a lip balm, save the bucks and use a green tea bag instead! Green tea is packed with antioxidants to nourish your pout and prevent peeling. All you’ve got to do is dip the tea bag in warm water for 5 minutes and place the wet bag on your lips. Doing this once a week will improve your lips’ texture for the better!
3. Red Lipstick For Concealing Dark Circles
Dark circles are pretty much the bane of all of our lives. However, what if we told you that we could make those panda eyes vanish by using red lipstick? Sounds absurd, right? But it works like magic! All you’ve got to do is take some red lipstick and apply it under your eyes. Use your index finger to rub and blend it in properly. You see, the red neutralizes the darkness and conceals dark circles like a pro. Just apply your concealer on top and you’re ready to flaunt your oh-so-fresh look!
4. Charcoal For Bright White Teeth
Whether it’s coffee, tea or wine stains, you can now fight yellowness by simply using activated charcoal! Start by breaking and smashing 1 tablet of charcoal and pour the powder into a bowl. Add a teaspoon of water to the mix and stir till you’re left with a black, thick paste. Dab the paste on your teeth using your finger or a toothbrush and wait for 3-5 minutes. Rinse it off after. Do this once a week for a whiter, brighter smile!
5. Lemon Slices For Fresh Underarms
Sure the thought of rubbing a lemon slice on your underarm is not an everyday thing, but trust us, this will be your favourite hack soon! By simply rubbing and swiping a lemon slice across your underarms, you’re not just destroying odor-causing bacteria but also brightening your underarm area all at the same time. It’s as simple as that, girls! Just be sure to use moisturizer after, as lemon can dry out your skin.
6. Baby Powder For Fuller, Longer Lashes
If you want longer, fuller lashes, simply apply a layer of your favourite mascara. Then coat your lashes in baby powder. Once you’ve done that, apply a second coat of mascara. In just a couple of minutes, you’ll have longer, thicker lashes! Go ahead and flaunt them, we say!
7. Eyeshadow For Your Scalp
Want your hair to look super lush and thick? You can make that happen by simply using eyeshadow! Pick an eyeshadow that compliments your hair colour the best! After picking your shade, apply the eyeshadow where your part begins with an angled brush. Then, lift up thin sections of your hair and apply it on your scalp. Once you’re done, place your fingers at the roots of your hair and massage your scalp! This helps the powder spread naturally and set into your roots properly.
8. Coconut Oil For Supple Skin
You may have used coconut oil on your hair, but we bet you’ve never tried it on your skin! This baby makes a great substitute for an expensive makeup removerand nourishes and hydrates skin at the same time! Giving you a dewy glow, it’s perfect for removing and wiping away makeup residue in the most natural way possible.
9. Hair Conditioner For Smoother Legs
Why invest in a shaving cream when you can use your good old hair conditioner, right? Just slather some of it on your legs before you get to the shaving business. Since a hair conditioner has moisturizing properties, it helps hydrate skin and smoothens the process of shaving. You’ll notice that by using hair conditioner on your legs, the razor begins to glide smoothly and lessens the chances of getting cuts and bumps along the way.
10. Heat An Eyeliner Pencil For The Intensity Of A Gel Liner
Let’s face it, pencil eyeliners aren’t as pigmented and easy to apply as compared to gel liners. However, if by chance, you don’t have a gel liner with you, and your only hope is an eyeliner pencil, fear not! This hack’s gold. Simply heat the tip of the liner for about 3 seconds and viola, you have the most perfectly smooth, dark and pigmented eyeliner pencil you could ever ask for!

Anmol: A healthy diet and lifestyle, drinking enough water, protecting yourself from the sun are indeed the most important beauty tips and already have been told here. Some additions to the current answers:
  • Find your style. A clothing piece, a hairstyle, a lipstick color that looks terrific on someone might look horrendous on you. Be aware of your skin and hair color, height, weight, body type and find what would look best on you.
  • Check your facial expressions, the way you walk, stand, and talk. You know how we all sometimes make silly faces to laugh? Well some of us do silly faces in daily life without being aware of it. The first time I saw myself on a video (I was in high school) I couldn't believe how I was often raising one of my eyebrows which would make me look angry and how I was almost never standing straight. I changed both after I realized this.
  • Don't use your skin as a test area for skin care products. We all use moisturizers, wash our face..etc Just keep these treatments at a healthy level. A normal amount of treatments will help your skin, but an overly amount will tire out your skin. Also, do pay attention on the ingredients of everything you put on your skin -- even wildly popular brands' products, including fancy expensive ones, contain some infamous ingredients for health.
  • Make-up fastens aging, might cause you lose the shine of your skin and have breakouts. It would be the best for your skin health if you wore as little make-up as possible or at least not wear heavy make-up too often.

Noora: When you're a pre-teen, it's hard to find beauty tips for pre-teens who are not loaded with makeup stuff! Well girls, if you want to look natural and want to make a beautiful look without makeup, I have my top 10 beauty tips for pre-teens who do not have any makeup! So girls, are you ready to drop your makeup kit and pick up some natural beauty tips for pre-teens? When I was a teenager, I did not go for lipstick, instead I picked up a stick! There are tons of benefits from the chapstick! It looks great, it does not dye lips and girls, it makes your lips so soft and silky! That's why it's my best tip for pre-teenagers who do not talk about makeup, but rather keep your lips beautiful and sweet!
Young girls at the beginning of their adolescence and at college must dress and look good, but they must aim for a more natural and healthy look. Nowadays, girls age quickly and become more and more precocious. This makes them great for beauty announcements and a plethora of hair products and makeup. Although the use of minimal makeup is not bad, it is definitely preferable for girls to aim for a more natural and beautiful look. Here are some beauty tips for young girls. If you have a girl, make it a habit to apply a dough of gram flour, curd and turmeric to her face every day in the morning before bathing. This dough not only keeps skin fair and stain-free, but moisturizes and keeps it soft and smooth. Young girls undergo hormonal changes especially during puberty.
This can make their skin uneven and dry. An oil massage can remedy this problem and bring a natural beauty and a radiant glow to their faces. To do this, take some hot olive oil and massage the oil on the hands, legs and torso of the girl. Olive oil has essential fats that will keep its skin young and supple and will prevent the early development of wrinkles. A good facial cleanser can be done at home using milk, honey and crushed almonds. Grind the almonds into a smooth dough and add a spoonful of honey and a little milk. This scrub can be applied to the face, left for a few minutes and washed after a few minutes. He will clean the face of the impurities and leave the face scrupulously clean. It also brings a warm, pink glow on the face. Young girls tend to go out a lot in the sun, so it's very important to make sure they apply a solar screen before going out. Use a solar screen of a minimum of 40 SPF and apply it generously on your hands, legs and face. This will protect your skin against tanning and sunburn, which can ruin your skin. A diet can make all the difference for the skin tone and the beauty of young girls. Read more about beauty tips: Beauty tips for young ladies.

One more thing you must keep in mind is to not step out of your home without sun protection. Wondering why? Well, the harsh rays of the sun can do you more damage than you could have ever imagined. his is why you need to use a sunscreen. Keep the following points in mind:

Always apply a sunscreen before stepping out into the sun.
An SPF of at least 30 or more, depending on your skin type, is necessary.
The UV rays darken and damage your skin. So, make sure you reapply your sunscreen every four or five hours.
Prepare your own sunscreen lotion with glycerin, cucumber juice, and rose water. You can also store this lotion in the refrigerator.
If you have already spent too much time in the sun, you would require specialized treatment to heal your skin by removing the tan and burns. Try out these skin repair masks to have your issues solved.

Skin Repair Masks
21. Homemade Tan Removal
Tans are inevitable, aren’t they? No matter how much sunscreen we apply, the brutal sun always finds a way to harm us. There are several ways to remove a tan right at your home. But here, we shall enlighten you on one of the most famous tan removal packs ever.

Ubtan
This traditional treatment includes the use of a mixture of besan (gram flour), turmeric, and yogurt. Turmeric removes the blemishes and dark spots. Yogurt clears the excessive tan, and besan cleanses your skin effectively.
This mask suits all skin types and can be applied every day as it is very gentle. The effects are visible quite immediately, but tan removal needs a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on the intensity of the tan.

22. Homemade Sunburn Cure
Well, sunburns are natural once you hit a beach for your vacation. But that doesn’t mean you need to go back to work looking toasted. Here is one solution you will definitely love!

Vinegar
Vinegar has antioxidants that fight free radicals and also keep bacterial and fungal infections at bay. More importantly, the pH level of your skin is effectively restored with the use of vinegar. This is what you need to do:

Take a clean spray bottle and fill it with some vinegar.
Spray it directly on the affected areas and allow it to dry.
Normally, vinegar dries within two to three minutes, and you can instantly feel a cooling and relaxing sensation on your skin.
You can follow the same procedure once every five hours to prevent the burning sensation and to cure your sunburn faster.
So, here are the easy-to-make homemade face packs you can use anytime. Wash your face thoroughly before applying these face packs. Wear a hair band and plain clothes that you won’t feel sorry about if spoilt. Use a brush to apply the face pack evenly. While washing off the face mask, use circular movements with your fingertips to get rid of the excess dirt. You can use a washcloth to wipe off your face. Don’t rub your face. Instead, pat it dry.

Your skin needs time and care for rejuvenation and regeneration. Without basic care, improving your skin’s condition and tone would be a difficult task. This is why you need to follow certain skin care basics to ensure a youthful, glowing skin.

Following are the certain factors that can contribute to healthy and glowing skin:

a. Drink Lots Of Water
Make it a habit of drinking a minimum of eight glasses of water every single day. This is not just a common advice – water is essential for the proper functioning of the body. There is a fluid loss from the body due to evaporation, sweating, and urination. This loss needs to be compensated by drinking plenty of water and juices (and not soft drinks).

When the water intake is not equal to the water output, dehydration takes place. Generally, fluid loss takes place in warmer climates, in people who perform grueling exercise routines at high altitudes and in older people who don’t tend to feel thirsty.

About 70 percent of the body is composed of water, which is required for various functions like digestion, respiration, absorption, circulation, transportation of nutrients, and maintenance of normal body temperature. When you are low on water, the brain triggers the body’s thirst mechanism. Water is a zero-calorie beverage, and drinking it is the safest way to lose weight.

Water energizes you and relieves you from fatigue. When you are dehydrated and tired, your face looks really dull. The skin mirrors your health, so you should treat water as a nutrient and drink it. Since water improves digestion, it makes your face fresh and free of acne.

b. Sleep Well
 sleep Save
Image: Shutterstock

If you don’t sleep, it shows on your face. You look irritated and tired. The solution is to not skip your beauty sleep and avoid staying awake till late hours in the night. The lack of sleep causes the blood vessels to dilate, and this results in dark circles.

The skin undergoes repair, restoration, and rebalancing while you are sleeping. The dead skin cells give way to newer cells, and the face gets an instant lift.

All the hormonal and metabolic changes occur in the body while you are sleeping. So, the lack of sleep disrupts the body processes. Seven to eight hours of sleep is absolutely needed if you want a healthy skin. However, don’t oversleep as it can cause cell breakdown. Maintain balance. Fix your sleeping and waking timings. Sleep on a soft pillow and make sure the pillow cover is also soft.

c. Exercise
You must exercise for at least 30 minutes every day. If you have skin problems like acne, psoriasis, and rosacea, take ample precautions before exercising, but don’t let them hinder your active life. Dermatologists say that exercise helps increase the blood circulation that itself boosts skin health.

When you do any physical activity, the blood carries oxygen and nutrients to all the cells, including your skin cells, and makes them healthy. Exercise also helps remove cellular debris and free radicals from the body and cleanses it from within. Sometimes, stress causes the sebaceous glands to secrete more sebum, and this triggers skin problems like eczema and acne. Exercise helps to de-stress, and this keeps skin problems at bay. More importantly, exercise tones your body and makes you look beautiful.

d. Exfoliate
Follow a good skin care routine. Do not skip exfoliation as, without it, you cannot get rid of dead and dry skin that accumulates and makes your complexion appear dull. You needn’t always buy a scrub. Homemade scrubs are just as effective. Use oatmeal as an exfoliator instead of a packaged product. There are many natural options available.

e. Remove Makeup Before Sleep
It is important to let your skin breathe. Remove your makeup before you sleep every night. Yes, follow this step every night, without fail, no matter how tired you are! With makeup, your skin cannot repair itself.

Using oil to remove makeup is perhaps better than using harsh chemicals. Those with oily skin feel that the excess oil can cause more harm. Well, it is not so. Oil helps dissolve the dirt and sebum without stripping the face of the natural oils. Those with oily skin can also use an astringent like a neem-based cleanser.

[Read: Home Made Scrubs For Oily Skin ]

Make sure the cleanser is water-based. Virgin olive oil is the best as it removes all the eye and face makeup in one step. You can also use castor oil – it is antibacterial and great for your skin. You can also blend castor oil with almond oil, avocado oil, and jojoba oil to remove wrinkles and give your skin the natural glow.

Blend half a cup of virgin olive oil and castor oil.
Apply it to your face and massage gently. Use the oil to remove all the eye makeup gently.
Now dip the washcloth in warm water, and wring out the excess water.
Place it on your face and keep it right there for a minute, and then wipe out the excess oil.
This simple oil cleansing routine will remove all impurities.
f. Have Vitamin-Rich Food
Incorporate foods rich in vitamin A and vitamin C in your diet. This will bring a natural glow to your skin. Vitamin C tablets are also available. You can have one tablet everyday post lunch for a clear skin tone.

So, why wait! Follow the tips mentioned above and keep your skin fair and healthy!

Our lives are full with juggling the responsibilities of our households and careers, while taking care of friends and family. At the end of the day, we look in the mirror and think “I look terrible!”Reducing stress and getting a good night’s sleep is my #1 beauty tip above and beyond makeup. My second suggestion is to take good care of your skin. If you follow tips 1 & 2 you definitely won’t need much makeup.

To help you get a good night’s sleep I’ve created a recipe below to create an at-home spa experience- which includes some home-made beauty products to hydrate and soften your skin.

Recipe to create your Zen At Home Spa Experience:

Ingredients –
Soft towels
Bathtub
Candles
Soft music
Book (optional)
Green juice (see recipe below)
Sugar body scrub (see recipe below)
Body wash
Moisturizing face mask (see recipe below)
Recipe For Green Juice:

1/2 cup spinach, 1/2 cucumber peeled and seeded, 1 carrot peeled with stem cut off, 1 apple cored with one cup of water or more for desired consistency.

Spinach: Has vitamin K, A, E, C, and B which is highly nutritious and contains lots of free-radical fighting antioxidants.

Carrots: Bugs Bunny simply love carrots! It contains a high level of antioxidants, which prevent damage from free radicals. Carrots are a good source of vitamin A, which helps in the development and maintenance of skin cells.

Apples: An apple a day keeps a doctor away! You must have grown up with this axiom. Do you want to know the reason? Apples contain antioxidants, which help to minimize cell and tissue damage, prevent wrinkles and other signs of aging.

Cucumber: Use these in your skin-boosting juice of cucumber for its anti-inflammatory properties and which also help to keep the skin hydrated.
Homemade Sugar Body Scrub: Mix 1 cup olive oil with 2 cups of raw sugar and add essential oil if desired.

Moisturizing Body Bar or Wash

Homemade Moisturizing Face Mask: 1 cup of cooked oatmeal, 1 tablespoon honey, egg whites from one egg (for binding the ingredients together).Blend the ingredients and apply it to the face, keep it for 5-10minutes. Then gently rinse. Oatmeal and honey helps to soothe and moisturize the skin.

Directions:

Draw a lukewarm bath (not too hot, as hot water robs our skin of moisture).
Light candles, start music and grab your book
Apply face mask to face and neck avoiding eye and lip area.
Use Sugar Body Scrub to gently exfoliate body- (avoid face and neck). Follow with gentle body wash if needed. (I like to mix body wash with a little sugar scrub mixture and gently massage into skin).
Once you have rinsed off the body scrub and washed off the face mask, gently pat your skin with a towel to dry.
You can dab some olive oil on your skin to keep it hydrated.
Lie back and sip green juice, listen to music or read, and relax.
Enjoy a peaceful sleep. (don’t forget to blow out the candles!)

a. Before I go out in the evening I rub ice cubes over my face to get a gorgeous, natural glow. I swear it brightens and takes a few years off my face. I use this trick on clients that are looking a bit sallow too.

b. Nearly everyone has slightly asymmetrical eyes. When you are tired it shows in your eyes. When I have a client who looks tired or one eye looks smaller than the other (sometimes referred to as a lazy eye). I massage the brow bone and pinch their eyebrows between my thumb and index finger to give their eye an instant lift. Repeat this process if necessary. For example, if my right eye is a bit smaller than the left, I give it a quick lift before I take a selfie.

c. Glycerine and rose water make a lovely makeup setting spray. Add 1/10 part glycerine to rose water in a misting bottle (not a spray bottle) shake well and mist your makeup holding the bottle about a foot away from your face. Your makeup will look more natural and last longer.

d. To enhance my natural waves and add volume to my hair, I combine two tablespoons of sugar to 2 cups of hot or boiling water. After it’s cooled add 1-2 drops of coconut oil. Apply to wet hair at roots for lift or all over your hair for waves. Coconut milk sprayed onto wet hair will also help to add volume.

a. Drink more water. Your skin is your body’s largest organ and the first place to show signs of dehydration. Not sipping enough H2O? You’re skin will look dull and drab, feel dry and be more prone to show the signs of aging and to breakout!

b. Invest in a jar of extra-virgin, cold-pressed, organic coconut oil. It removes the most stubborn of waterproof eye makeup, moisturizes hair and skin brilliantly, and simultaneously fights acne and wrinkles. It’s my #1 go-to beauty product not only because of it has many uses, but also because it really works. I use it in recipes in my beauty cookbook, “The Recipe for Radiance: Discover Beauty’s Best-Kept Secrets in Your Kitchen” than I can even count!

C. Give yourself an at-home facial. Start with a base of full-fat Greek yogurt (it’s rich in lactic acid to break down dead skin cells, probiotics to balance bacteria and fat to moisturize). Add raw honey to hydrate more deeply and for its antibacterial properties (which fight acne!) or red wine for its antioxidants. Apply a thin layer (avoiding the eyes) and let sit for 20 minutes before rinsing off.
